My heart stopped when Jones left the game for that brief stint. Was happy to see him return and more than anything glad he is okay! Glad we got the win! Already waiting for Saturday!
PT - he's played a lot more against better opposition. He didnt shoot well today and has been inconsistent but with a short bench i was surprised to see him get so few minutes by comparison

Kennard is absolutely not in the doghouse. He has been given every opportunity to perform and he has performed in stretches. He is having what used to be called a freshman season.
You think maybe Roy will let Coach K have his timeouts? I mean it's not like he uses them or anything
He's 11-for-33 from the field in the four games since UNC. He needs to be better.
I don't know for sure, but I'd be willing to bet that was the first time he missed five FTs in a game. There's no denying he is tired.
I don't buy he's missing some FTs because he's tired. Our guys are playing a lot of game minutes but they're hardly practicing at all because we lack bodies.
We will see some serious fire and fight, just need the shots to fall and a few bounces!!! I feel a sweep a brewing
Not what we wanted exactly, but it's a win after a two day turn around coming off a lose, against a in state opponent. Two day turn arounds are tough and we got the win. It's enough fellas.
Matt isn't right. He is making bad passes and moving slowly. The other 5 in our roation are playing well, but that's razor thin. I'm happy with our record considering Amile, but I have a feeling we're looking at finishing the season 3-3 over the next 6 and in the Sweet 16 , which I think is fine given our youth and depth. Don't count us out though, we have great heart and THE coach.
I'm sorry dude, DT has just been grating on my nerves. It's not I don't like the kid, I do, I just don't see his passing improving. He is playing better D. I just can't believe the boring, lifeless passing. He passes right to the open player. He never makes a leading pass, one that puts the player into direction to make a play. No lobs, no alley oops, no quick crosses for open threes. Just a drive to the basket for a weak layup or a meaningless pass to an unpositioned open player. It's going to drive me insane.
I hate the way we are coming into this unc game. I had hopes we would have Amile, and that he would have at LEAST two or three games under his belt prior to it. We are ragged and tired. Shot poorly tonight. I know we can win it but it will be an assload of heart if we do. Grayson and Brandon gotta take us there and we will need some contributions from some areas we don't get them from sometimes. The Heels aren't forgetting Brice crying on the floor and bawling in the handshake line last game. They are gonna bring it. I hope we gave enough in the tank to respond.
This year we're not really running a traditional offense though. We do a lot of isolation packages for Grayson and Brandon and let them try and create.

This is my concern too. Hopefully our guys are having an easy week, full of non-alcoholic rejuvenation. We have to make timely runs and feed off of the Crazies. A win here puts a dagger in the hearts of baby blue nation. I think we'll see an "assload of heart" from both teams. Brandon will be playing to silence his home state critics. That's big.
