I am not a round ball fan and find it hard to get interested in games. I do like to see our teams do well, though.

How many more games do we have to win to be assured of making the NCAA tournament? I'm tired of hearing about how crappy our BB program is.

If you send me check for $700, I will tell you.

23 wins in the regular season should do it, but we need to beat a few high ranked teams to clinch it.

SC, you are missing a great ride. Drop what you're doing and tune in today. It will only take you one game to learn the players and these games are getting more interesting by the minute.

There is debate about whether NU needs 10 or 11 conference wins to make the tournament. Whatever, we're at over halfway there.

Many are tired of hearing about how crappy our BB program is, but that could all be in the past if things go well.

I don't know how many wins it will take to get in, but I think they'll have to finish in the top six of the Big Ten standings. I don't see the conference getting more than six teams into the tournament, and even that may be stretching it.

Sliding scale ...

Six more wins (not out of the realm of possibility) - Done deal. Cats will be in.
Five more wins - Good chance the Cats will get in.
Four more wins - Very much on the fence especially if the wins are against Illinois (2), Rutgers and dying Indiana.
Three more wins - Probably NIT unless two of those wins are against Wisconsin and Purdue.

Or win the Big Ten Tournament!
