Do Audige or Buie have any eligibility left after this year? And would they come back?

Yes, they (and Beran) each have one year left. The only player on the current roster who has exhausted his eligibility is Verhoeven.

If we pony up enough cash, perhaps we could make it happen.

I want Boo and Chase and Robbie to do what is best for their future, not the rooting interest of a 52-year old man. But, they have brought me joy. And, if they want to continue bringing me joy, that would be great.

Right, but none of them will be NBA rich; however, a good NIL package could bring them back. Better than playing for the Fort Wayne Mastodons

Will we be competing NIL wise with other 'academic' institutions who might be interested in furthering their 'education'?

Right. I would imagine if Boo had any inkling to transfer (and it doesn't seem he would), big-time programs would be all over him. I'd prefer he and Chase finish their college careers in Evanston, whether it's next year (preferable to ME) or this year. Same for Beran, although he wouldn't be in as high of a demand. He'd still be a nice rotation piece to add to a contender though.

I'd be curious about how tight the three of them (or any two of them) are with each other. Do guys ever say stuff like "I'll come back if you do" when making a decision of this magnitude?

Assuming we don't win the B10, might they come back if we can get some transfers to assemble a championship team? Maybe. I could see us as a good landing spot for 3 point shooters. 3 point shooters know that we need 3 point shooting and they could burnish their resume with some D and success in the B10 and NCAAs.

Indeed. We’ve already gotten a big boost from this dream season, and realistically 200k will be as much or more than they’d make playing in Europe (and waaay more than the G-league). If the NIL cash flows, Collins could make a legit case for them to stick around and continue to build something. (Just look at Drew Timme, who has better pro prospects imo.) The issue will be whether other programs come calling.

Dude, IPFW is the Mastodons. Fort Wayne professional hoops is the Mad Ants. Get your sh*t straight. What, isn’t there a /g_league reddit?

Or maybe you meant that IPFW has a particularly rich NIL program?

Geez. Idiot.
