Next year is gonna be a big block of that foundation of the build with a unproven QB a O line that can't block, zero WR depth and an offensive staff that can't scheme and play call to 14 friggin points.

Exactly how far do we need to lower our expectations? Need the Super Fans to weigh in please.

Over/under for wins next year is probably 4, and that might be .5 too high.
We still don’t have anybody on this team who would start for Minnesota, except the placekicker.
In other words, our players are sub-middle-of-pack Big Ten quality.
We have no size, no strength, no quarterback, no playmakers, no identity, no pass rushers, no speed, no quick-twitch guys, no excitement, no system, no clue of how to develop players, no hope.
We’re a sinking ship with Gilligan (aka HCNB) at the helm.
Hiring HCNB will go down as the worst thing to ever happen to WVU football. The players know this. That’s why 31 have entered the transfer portal since Jan. 1 of last year. No other football program on the planet has had that many player jump off a sinking ship. Hell, we’re the Titanic of college football.

Kneel needs to be told to fire his OL coach and get a real OC. We also need a new S&C coach.

WVU football can be fixed. We just need our OLine to improve about 300% and Nicco to come in and be Trevor Lawrence circa 2018. If that happens, Kneel saves his *** and we have a great run. In the other 14,000,605 scenarios, we struggle hard and suffer for Kneel's complete lack of vision this past season. He gets canned and we start this **** all over again.

Sorry but thanks to Shane and his contract extension Brown is here at least 2 more.

Yeah probably...

If that happens and we have two more losing seasons, Lyons really needs fired.

I kinda thought Brown could work up to a big season in year 4 but seems like we are moving in the opposite direction.

THIS WILL MAKE THE QBs MUCH BETTER! IT'S THOUGH TO PASS WHEN YOU'RE RUNNING FOR YOUR LIFE OR FLAT ON YOUR BACK.

Maybe your best path is to, simply, STOP following this or, maybe, any team not named Alabama, Georgia, Oklahoma, and a few others. It is detrimental to your mental health to subject yourself to such a myriad of disappointments, frustrations, angers, etc. You have such a strong belief in your mastery of the sport(s) and what ia wrong with the observed play on so many fronts that it is only reasonable for you to withdraw from such negative stimuli. Also, consider the public service aspect--you would remove the urge and thus cease distributing by huge heaps this same negativity on other readers who, frankly, do not want to hear it, do not agree with the vigor of your religious-like drive, or do not appreciate the perceived caustic diatribe to which they are being exposed.

Forgot ONE--
But we HAVE some VERY UNSUPPORTIVE fake fans.

Oh, please Mr. Know it all expert list all those 31 players who have allowed WVU to become the elite school in this category. Then, do us all a favor, and, with your vast array of expertise, discuss each one and, on a scale of 1-10, list their actual worth/contribution to the TEAM prior to their departure. (Please do not fall back on the nebulous/cop out, "POTENTIAL", argument for those who hardly sat down long enough to drink that preverbal 'cup of coffee' but, please, do consider as a positive for the team departures of those who were more of a 'cancer' irrespective of any, apparent, success on the field). I truly await your analysis and POSITIVE contribution to this forum.

Here is a link that mentions the number of players (now up to 31).

Ask Bob for the list. I'm not going to do your work for you.

Put your blue-and-gold glasses back on keep ignoring that this is a sinking ship with major problems from the top on down. Yea, go team! We're the best! If it wasn't for bad officiating we'd be 12-0 every year. Yipppee! We're the greatest.

The 31 are totals of the past 2 seasons. From January 2021 to January 2022. This past season of 2021 is currently at 12.

So
2020 - 19
2021 - 12

Where's the tragedy? Other than losing body's and thinning depth chart not much?

Out of the 31 WVU transfers from January 2021 only 10 of them were recruited by Neal Brown, the other 21 were recruited by Dana.

For 2021 season Only 2 of the 10 Neal Brown recruits was a significant starter: Jarret Doege

There is a purge happening.

Also out of the 31:

11 are unsigned
8 signed with a G5 school
7 signed with a FCS school
5 signed with a P5 school

Obviously you never were on a football team. Sometimes you would be better off not making a comment...particularly uninformed ones.

You're so cute when you try to divert lol.🤣
Isn't that your mantra? All anyone sees from your comments is diversion and lies.

I posted fact you chose to ignore it and instead try to start internet troll fights for your pleasure and enjoyment. You are what many say you are, a failure.

Enjoy your personal attacks and have a nice day.

I just blame Dana and believe HCBN deserves at least 23.5 to 24.6 years to rebuild from the "empty panty" he was left. It's only fair.

For the record, a coach can start with an “empty panty” (lol) and still suck. They are not mutually exclusive ideas.

To be effective here, Kneel needs a really good OL and QB. Unfortunately, at least most of all P5 coaches can do that.
Rod won with Rasheed Marshall, who was a great kid and a hell of a competitor, but was NOT a great QB.

Nehlen won with Darren Studstill. Even Jake the Snake was no one's all American. Even Dana won with Skyler.

If Nicco is great then Kneel is fine. If not then he is screwed. We now know what Kneel is and what he is not. He will not do more with less. He will do more with more and less with less.

I just think next year will be the same but Kneel and fans will say, "well it's a first year QB...what do you expect?"

For whatever reason Kneel has ultimate job security...

The reason is that he's a nice guy, and the fan boys in the local sports media love him because he treats them well, so he never gets criticized by anybody outside of the fan base.

It's PC Woke armor. 2020-21 Edition. Pretty sturdy stuff.

Only weakness? A Me Too attack. If there is an affair on his behalf or an assault by one of his players, then he will get punted immediately.
