Well, he has had his moments that he wasn't one of our most staunchest ambassadors.
Perhaps my expectations of people these days exceed the reality.

Dupree seemingly wanted a "divorce" from OU and Switzer in 1983. I got the impression that despite Dupree's great talent, Switzer started having second thoughts as soon as Dupree arrived at OU.....for one reason or another. Switzer's remarks years later told me that he did not think Dupree was a team player or a dedicated player.

Oh, why didn't you say that? LOL. Just kidding. Yeah, I can understand how you feel. I would like to know if Barry had it to do all over again if he would still recruit him and handle him differenty having the advantage of understanding his immaturity OR just let Texas have him.
