Got a feeling he has a great game Saturday. Hoping he shows maturity and learns from his poor game at Wake.
He looked tired at Wake, could be for many reasons, but he didn't have his usual explosiveness at the rim. Is K working him extra hard in practice? Is he hitting a freshman January wall? Maybe he has some tough second semester classes?
Whatever it is, I really hope he looks different Saturday, he is the key to us beating up on UVA.
Good postTo me he is struggling to find his role with the team. There are times when he looks great, but to me there's been too many times when his erratic play gets him a seat next to the coaches. Case in point was the Miami game. For 30+ minutes, he was horrible. The last 6-7 minutes, he was smooth and very efficient. It may hurt him a little that we have bigs and the lane isn't as open as he would like it, but it's up to him to adjust. Pick his spots, and look to kick out or dish to a teammate. He does though seem to take his benchings pretty well, he looked ok sitting and cheering. The team though is better if he's under control and running point, not Grayson.
Hope he sees that the team can win with him not on the court.
