My picks
* NC at home
* most intriguing matchup of the week - WN at LP. Pickem game? I heard some LP guys were missing in prior weeks due to injury? Im going to go with LP I guess but I don't feel good about that pick right now.
* NN at home.
* WV away - WV absolutely needs this game
* NV at home.

WWS is playing for their playoff lives so that will make it interesting for a while but NC is just too much for the Tigers. NC 35 to 21.
Wheaton North @ Lake Park
I agree with Voodoo that this game is tough to call. My heart is with the Falcons by my brain is with Lake Park at home on what is probably either Senior Night or Homecoming as usual. If WN limits their turnovers they win. I think they learned their lesson after the first minutes last week. Tough to play first 4 of 5 games on the road though. Last team with the ball wins.
WN 21 to 14.
Naperville North @ Glenbard North
This could be the upset special of the week with NN facing their toughest secondary yet. Struggled with LP last week and this D is better. I think NN has been trying to develop their running game the last couple weeks to prepare them for this game. They know passing yards won't be as easy to come by. Still giving the slight edge to NN. NN 21 - GBN 20.
Waubonsie Valley @ Metea Valley
The beginning of the turnaround for WV. WV 35 - MV 7.
Thornwood @ Neuqua Valley
NV looking tough. NV 45 - Thornwood 7.

Wheaton W. South @ Naperville Central - Naperville Central - I have picked the Tigers every week to pull the upset (except for WN Game). Maybe if I pick the other team the Tigers will pull the upse? But I doubt it, NC is pretty darn good..

Wheaton North @ Lake Park - Wheaton North - should be a good one - WN needs to keep LP offense off the field (obvious).

Naperville North @ Glenbard North - Naperville North - another good game. Think GN secondary will have trouble with Davis, Calcagno etc.

Waubonsie Valley @ Metea Valley - Waubonsie Valley - hopefully MV hasn't packed it in and can stay in the game.

Thornwood @ Neuqua Valley - Neuqua Valley

Naper Central over WWS @ NC
Not looking good for the Tigers, what else can be said.

Lake Park over WN @ LP
After seeing both squads back to back weeks, I think LP is the better team. They had NN on the ropes last week and were just seconds away from the win. WN is a big, strong, run-dominated team- but I don't see the overall team speed and athleticism at WN like some other DVC teams. Slight edge to LP @ LP. LP lost a heartbreaker to a good DeKalb the week prior. Should be a great game.

Waubonsie over Metea @ Metea
Metea will go winless in the DVC, and their lower levels are a disaster. Losing their two best players (by transfer) to Naper Central has crippled their offense.

Neuqua over Thornwood @ Neuqua
What a great gift from the scheduling gods... a home scrimmage against a winless Thunderbirds. They will clear the bench in the 2nd half. Expect 28-0 or 35-0 at half, with a final of 42-6, depending on how much the 1st string plays.

GN over NN at GN
With the exception of last season, GN has owned the Huskies the last decade. They have been particularly dominate at home, winning 46-6 in 2015, 37-28 in 2013, 34-10 in 2011, and 21-0 in 2009. The Panthers are gaining some momentum with two straight wins too. GN has a great secondary, possibly neutralizing the Huskie strength (passing attack). If NN can win the turnover battle, they might be able to pull out another close win... just think our good juju might run out this week.
