WN over WV - lots at stake, I think WN can run on WV, can WN contain a WV passing attack if its hitting on all cylinders? Will the WV team that beat GN show up?
Lincoln Way Central over MV - has MV packed it in? Not sure, hoping for Metea win.
GN over NV - just a feeling. My upset pick #1. WN ran on NV and I think GN will do the same. Vittorio 3-4 TDs again.
NC over LP - playing for pride -
WWS over NN - WWS offense has a big game and pulls off my upset pick #2. This is an iffy one since I love the NN D and secondary.

Will the WV Dr. Jeckel team show up that protects the rock, limits penalties etc. etc.? I won't even talk about Mr. Hyde.. Since this is week 9 - I'm going to say WV in a tight one over WN and the only reason is.... I BELIEVE!!!!!! Picking WV

MV 2-6 at LWC 6-2
Away game, long drive, last game of the year for MV but LWC needs to fine tune for the playoffs and get best seed possible - I will take a good LWC team in a competitive game. Picking LWC

NV 8-0 at GBN 6-2
I have now seen all the best teams in the DVC live and in person and I honestly believe GBN is the most talented. (disclaimer - I have not seen WN yet - but I'm going off current records with that statement). Can GBN put together 4 full quarters of football? Because that is what it will take to take down NV... I going with GBN in a tight one. Picking GBN.

LP 2-6 at NC 3-5
Lake Park too banged up at this point of the DVC grind - I am picking NC at home. Picking NC

WWS 2-6 at NN 7-1
North's 18+ Seniors starting on both sides of the ball are not going to allow a letdown to a talented set of WWS skill guys. The only way WWS wins this is if it is a barn burner shoot out and they have the ball last. Picking NN

GBN over NV, if I was really superstitious I would pick NV but hoping the Panthers can play their best and get the W for a home playoff game. Will need to keep the turnovers and penalties down and not give up any big plays or NV goes undefeated in the DVC.
LWC over MV, don't know much about LWC but they have only lost to Bradley-Bourbonnais (8-0) and Lockport (by 2 pts) so it will be tough for MV to prevail in this one.
WN over WV, what a game this one is! These 2 teams have been on the roller-coaster all year long, who will show up and who will get the turnovers? Somehow I think WV may pull it together and get the W but seems like the Falcons are coming together at the right time, we'll see!
NC over LP, the Redhawks have talent and should have motivation to get the W, could have won a playoff game or 2 but will want to close out the season on a positive note. LP beat up and just not enough right now beat them.
NN over WWS, Tigers will put up a good fight but think NN will be ready, will pull away in the 4th quarter and win by 9 or more.
