He’s no longer with K-State and will take a redshirt this year. He’ll have two more years to play.

Pass. Remember, this guy decommitted from Notre Dame, chased the bag from Deion but really disappeared after that first TCU game, which tells me he’s not a great locker room guy. I would guess he feels he should be the featured offensive weapon and when the game plan differs, he likely pouts, IMO.

Never found a school he didn’t like if they give him enough money.

He is also injury prone. Great speed and quickness but no power. I would hard pass

Electric AF but injury prone. Def a game changer. I’d love to add him. Maybe we can be a difference for him. The kid is a touchdown run in a box. I have no idea if he’s a bad apple. If he is it’s probably not worth it

Living in CO, I never heard anything bad about him, and there are some rumors floating around that he may be considering a return to CU - apparently those stemmed from posts from former teammates at CU. Doesn't fit a narrative of being a bad locker room guy. Whether we like it or not, kids decommit all the time, including Dylan Raiola - twice.

One would have to question his judgment if he goes back to CU.

Doesn't seem like he would want to be a backup to EJ. Doesn't seem like a great fit in that regard. Would be a fit for the offense though with his receiving skills.

I suspect his tune has changed now that he tasted the rewards of his efforts. Life is good in Nebraska when you’re the starting quarterback on a winning team. UCLA can’t even get 20,000 fans to their games.

I would assume it's just internet nonsense. Does UCLA even know who their 2026 HC is? Why would Lateef plan on going to ucla without knowing who the coach is? Their athletic department is a mess. I would think they have to take a gamble again because I'm not sure they can afford anyone else.

This era of CFB, you just gotta roll with it. He seems like a really great kid, and I just wish him well no matter what. Dude, I put my heart and soul into recruiting on EA CFB26, and guys still leave after a year. Whadyagonnado?
