Birds going with the all black unis. They are not very high on my list of favorites. But they didn't win in my favorites, kelly green, this past Sunday, so if they get a win today, I'll tolerate the blacks.

On the pregame show they were discussing whether Barkley would gain 80 yards today and one guy said not with this play calling. Hopefully they mix things up today.

it appears the Birds stopped the RB short of the line, but the refs mark the ball just on the line

Edit: After video review, the runner is ruled short, so the Birds take over on downs. How many stops is that by the Birds' D over the past 3 games on 4th down?

That was an awful first series for the Eagles. After Saquon gets 5 on a 1st down carry, they throw twice for bupkis.

SMH. This is an average team this year.

I had thought that the Bears-Eagles kickoff would be 8pm, ballpark, and was vastly impressed that there would be 12 solid hours of tailgating. Instead I find that kickoff was at 3, meaning a measly 7 hours of tailgating. If you ask me the Eagles fans really need to step up their game. Instead of bitching about the color of the Eagles uniforms, they could ***** about only 7 hours of tailgating, what a sorry lot y’all are.

Sometimes growing up in a certain area makes a person not like the local team.

You get the bye and home field, anything can happen. Every team has had games where they look flat out ordinary. No real standout team this year, I’m willing to be convinced otherwise. We’ll discuss after this game, wanna try that? No question that the Eagles losing today would force a big time recalibration.

I don’t need to wait until the end of the game to feel that the Eagles aren’t winning the SB.

Everything is broken this year. The changes on offense have failed in spectacular fashion. And the D players who they had to let go have proven tough to replace.
