I don’t think he’s lost the team, but I do think he hired a poor OC.
This collapse type play is becoming a pattern. And I think the roster knows that Nick effed up with his offensive coordinator hire. His refusal to try and fix it causes the players to check out. They can tell when they’re set up to fail.

That could be. At this point about the only way to shake things up is to fire the OC. Otherwise the players very well may end up in a funk they can’t get out of or infighting could become a problem.

The old adage about changing one person vs 11 holds true. Nick has to do it. But he’s waited too long.

INT by the Bears.

Hurts was scrambling, and floated it to A.J.

Only his 2nd INT of the year, but a terrible time to throw an INT

At this point they should give the Eagles points for getting a first down.

The Iggles look like Iowa in the Brian Ferentz era. No offense and the defense hanging on for dear life. With Tory Taylor punting for the other team, though.

Birds go no huddle, and are putting together their best drive of the day

Where did that drive come from? But the missed PAT could be a major issue.

The Birds miss the PAT, so it's 10-9, Bears, with 8:05 left in the 3rd qtr.

It was a 5 play, 92-yard drive.

3rd & 1, Birds do a push tush, and it's ruled a fumble that the Bears recover.

4th & 5, and the Bears appear to be going for it ...

and they convert. Loveland pushes off more than A.J. did earlier in the game, and Blankenship goes down, but no flag.

Nothing to overturn, the ball came out, the only way is wasn’t a fumble is if forward progress was stopped, which wasn’t the call on the field.
Yeah, I totally believed that forward progress had been stopped. I guess the whistle would have been key.

TD, Berars. Monangai runs it in from the 5

With the PAT, it's 17-9, Bears, with 12:49 left in the 4th qtr.

Unfortunately the Bears came to win, Eagles D is still at the Thanksgiving Diner table.
