After having a 1st & goal at the 2, the Birds end up having to kick a FG.

Well as mentioned Sal Pal laid all the eagles struggles on Jalen Hurts

Hmm, the Birds are not going to take a deep shot with 0:07 left. They send out the FG unit for a 48-yard FG. Hmm, refs chan the clock to 0:10, so the offense comes out for a shot.

Stating the obvious here, but Hurts is just brutal. Guys open and he won’t pull the trigger. On that dump off to Shipley, he had Saquon on the other side with no one within 5 yards of him, has Brown open in the middle he runs, has Smith open, checks down to Goedert, has Saquon for a probable TD, can’t get the ball to him. Won’t win many games with QB play this bad.
Report on the Eagles radio PBP is that Dickerson is still questionable, but not yet ruled out, with a calf injury

well, after a tackle for a loss, then a sack by Young, and then an incomplete on 3rd down, Chargers to attempt a 34-yard FG

On the SB run that lost yardage they went back to their gap scheme (tried to trap the 3). Just stay w your zone scheme. SMH.
Just a frustrating time for the offense. One big pass to AJ and then a meltdown. They settle for a long FG.
The offense just lacks any real threat out there. I’m starting to buy that Hurts is a big part of that.
