Birds' O looked inept on their opening drive.
Motion on 1st down makes it 1st & 15
Pickett with a poor throw to A.J. Brown on 1st down, which is incomplete
Pickett rolls out on 2nd down, not sure what he looking for downfield, then he started to run, but ended up throwing it OOB as he was going to lose yards. DeVonta Smith got shoved down on the play (before the throw), but no flag
On 3rd down, a swing pass to Gainwell who was tackled just past the LOS. Of course, the Poke tackler had ahold of his facemask, but no flag on the play

Heck it could be 21-0 if Dallas had kicked onside and recovered it! Went down a scored. But that didn’t happen And neither did the cowboys score 14. Smh
They haven’t been for several years. The data is stark and underlines the question on why they haven’t found a more competent backup who can play a more similar style to Hurts?
True but they haven’t called a good game w KP yet. They need to run outside zone which is SB best play. And then come back w the boots etc
Maybe they’ll mix passes and runs their next series. Dare we dream?
Well the Cowboys OC did spend a few hours talking to me this past week.
Really?? Have you not paid attention?? In almost every game the opposing team as controlled the first quarter, last week was a rare exception
The OL and DL are getting manhandled. That’s the main issue today. It looks like Dallas is the team with something to play for.
Carolina had quite a lot of success running similar plays as Washington and Dallas.
When teams stay patient against the Philly D, then they can chip away and sustain long drives.
And teams are starting to pick on Mitchell.

Go back and watch the key to beating the Eagles and it has been for yrs is, if you are willing to go 4-5-6 throw n complete a couple outs is the recipe for beating the Eagles especially if the O is playing like today. Now if the Eagles go up 14 it’s more difficult to play that way
