Probably the best DL they'll face this season. And Lane going out early really hurt the Birds' O.

The Rams got steamrolled by Barkley in the 2 games the teams played last season. It seemed obvious they were not going to let Barkley beat them today. The Birds' muffing so many KOs had the Birds constantly starting with terrible field position, which didn't help, as the Birds didn't want to pass in those situations, and the Rams were loading up for runs.

The Birds' OL is too good, and Barkley is too good, for them not to get the running game going more smoothly.

I wasn’t just talking about this game…they haven’t run well in any of three games. Other teams are going to be focused on Barkley, so they need to find ways to get him going. Three big wins so far, so it’s not like the sky is falling, but they can’t rely on blocked field goals all year to win.

Doing what they did in the second half will open up the run game. Patullo finally seems to have realized that he can’t recreate last year’s game plan on offense.

Let AJ, Slim and Dallas eat. The run will come!

Teams are selling out to stop the run. This is now three games in a row that they have been running into loaded boxes. Patullo needs to pass to open up the run game, instead of run to open up the pass game. The second half of this game showed us that.

Yeah, Cowpokes - Bears as one of the national games???

Oh well, the nation missed an ugly 1st half (for the Birds), and a great 2nd half, and overall, a very entertaining game from two of the best teams in the NFC.
