Destroyed Gonzaga and won Battle for Atlantis way underrated team complete team. Ryan will be ineffective especially on defense against their guards. This will be a game that fresh is going to be counted on to play a lot of minutes alongside Perry whom's play of lately will be exposed as either boom or bust.

I like McMahon more than Fresh at least McMahon gives us offense both have trouble when they drive the lane.
There's always a first, esp with the other team who is lagging a little behind after a party in Atlantis.
They aren't gonna keep shooting like that all season. They got hot and beat a couple overrated teams. Sure our guys are ready for this.
It will be a tough game if we extend our defense we should win. If we sit back in the pack line and let them shoot it could be a long day.
How long will Mich have their legs to shoot out there? First half, maybe?
This theory was true with Rick's style of defense . Haven't seen it under Mack so far at least with the players he has to work with. We just haven't shown a dog attitude on defense.
I just see us winning by double digits. We will be more motivated. They’ve just got off a plane from Atlantis after playing 2 top 10 teams. Then they’ll get on another plane to The Ville!

i dont think its just about pressuring an opponent to wear them down with depth. Having it allows guys to play harder while they are on the floor cause they are getting rest. Sutton really wore down as the year cause he gives 100% all the time.
You know Atlantis is only 80 miles off the Florida coast. Wyoming would have been further. They are also 19, 20 and 21 year olds. They wont be tired. We better bring our A game. I doubt they will hand us thos one.
They deserve to be #1, IMO. They have accomplished far more at this point. Their ranking starting point is the only reason why Louisville will be #1 later today, but to quote Chris Mack they haven't earned it yet.
We CAN earn it tomorrow night though. We have the team and the coach to do this. They just got to go get it done.
Yell i really want to see this team do something significant when the spotlight is on them. And not drop the ball.
I think facing a legit 7 footer will be an interesting test. Enoch is strong, but I want to see how he will finish against that size. Jordan won’t be getting easy looks at the rim either, so it will really be a game he needs to show off his range. Good thing he can shoot from all over the court
if you base it on schedule alone then Maybe. But if you’ve watched both teams play. We look like a deeper more talented team.
I think Gonzaga and NC were good matchups for them. We are more athletic and shoot much better then what they’ve seen. If we play and shoot the way we have been. We got this!
Thinking about Michigan the last week, I had completely forgotten that John Beilein left. No I've not watched them play either. I'd forgotten that I said no way when all the Juwan Howard talk started and said Michigan will not pull a Memphis. We shall see how much experienced coaching is worth in our environment against a very talented, deep Louisville team.
I have not watched them play either. Listening to Cards Radio this morning, apparently Howard has them playing a very similar style to what Beilein had them doing (trivia: John & his family, as well as Bill Stewart and his, went to our church!). Smart guy, took his roster as he inherited it and kept using those inherited strengths instead of trying to force in his own style which this roster may not be ready for. Looking forward to the game tonight.

People may think “former NBA getting a job on name alone” but he’s been an assistant for the Miami Heat for the previous 6 seasons. Maybe not experienced in-game coaching, but Erik Spolestra is one of the best basketball minds on the planet. And that starts at the top with Pat Riley.
Having Phil Martelli on staff was a perfect hire too. A great mind that can give him so much wisdom about the college game.

Fresh plays defense no better than Ryan, which is why he comes off the bench and shoots nowhere near as well. Hope that players like DJ and Sam deliver more than as of late. Our two headed interior will be crucial in this game. I feel like Nwora and Sutton will come to play and Perry although sometimes tries to do too much has played well so far. Getting stops on UM defensively is critical to winning the game. GO CARDS!!
