Great game by the Horses for their first conference win. Looks like Wallace is in a battle with Goldsboro at the moment.
Couple of comments credit and hats off to the kids and coaches once again like last week gave up some early points made the adjustments and held ED scoreless the rest of the game....unless my roster was wrong we had a freshmen #10 Darion Mclellan out there starting on defense.....offensively i only counted one procedure penalty and 2 holding calls tonight honestly i believe our penalty calls were in single digits tonight could be wrong....oline blocked great RBs ran hard...Jaheim Faison had one of his best nights 4 TDs pretty sure well over 100 yards....Wallace also had a great game....great game all around good solid win to start conference play........ED is not a bad team by no means and should be a tough out for anyone going forward that fullback is a big boy...they played extremely hard just had some miscues that hurt them.....ill give it to them the refs seriously screw them on that early whistle kids momentum never stopped not scoring on that drive seemed to take the wind out their sails...good luck to ED the rest of the way congrats again to my Horses.Homecoming next week on to Goldsboro. My unofficial stats: rushing leaders J'Daques Wallace 17 carries for 156 amd 1 TD Jaheim Faison 13 carries for 136 and 4TDs also have Boogie Smith with about 60 yards and Blake Smith with 50

Yeah of course we would like to see it be more consistent but #5 and #32 had the lanes and the oline was coming off hard
Great game by the DarkHorses. Excellent job by the offensive line and the running backs running the lanes the OL provided. Very impressive last 3 quarters by the defense shutting the ED Panthers down. Going into the game I think I got my wish by our having a single-digit # of penalties. The Horses looked very poised. I think they're where they need to be at this point in the season moving forward.
Congrats to the Darkhorses' on the win. Sounds like there was good sportsmanship on both sides. Well done!
Yeah we better get yall while we can ED isnt a bad team that physical blue collar style of play is going to catch someone slipping later on this season better not overlook the Panthers good luck the rest of the way
Yes sir! East Duplin runs very few trick plays, they just line up and run it. And that fullback trap is a monster!!
Hats off to the Darhorses. ED just made too many mistakes to make it a competitive game and the Darkhorses capitalized on those mistakes. Once they get back to 100% injury wise, Clinton will be a handful. Good luck the rest of the way.
I thought the DarkHorse defense, defended it pretty well. ED had 3-4 nice runs on it, one a 80 yard score in the 1st qtr but after the 1st qtr the Horses pretty much shut them down.
Yes we adjusted well the coachrs do a great job making those adjustments and the kids great job executing.....just like last week a couple early scores then nothing else same as last night
Like i said before thats been a staple with ED for years i remember playing we would go over it in practice it was on the scouting report and we would defended it well but right when you least expect it bam there it goes big play and Coach Sawvel would let us hear about it in film the following Monday and once we hit the practice field we knew what was coming GRASS DRILLS!!!!!! Get those feet moving lol ah Good times good times
And Northside beating Jacksonville the way they did makes that win last week look even better Monarchs definitely better than record indicates
I knew Jacksonville was a little down this year, but I definitely didn't expect that score!
