I don't know much at all about ESL but checked their roster and they don't appear to have much length in their receiving corps, GBN's losses included a few big plays to 6'4" Robinson/WV and 6'5" TE for NN. The Panthers are playing better right now than earlier in the year and have been lucky so far to avoid any key injuries. Conway had picks in the WV and NN game (2 in each game I believe?) or they could be 10-0 right now also. He looked really good in the NV game, the 82 yd pass to James was one of the best pass plays I've seen by GBN on Weber Field (10 years). Why talking about passing? We all know GBN can run the ball, the O-line has come together and Tricase is now THE MAN after playing all of his 4 yrs at GBN. Conway played some games as a soph when Gasiorowski was hurt or struggled but his passing will be critical for GBN to play another week. He's a good runner also and has picked up some good gains when scrambling, he looks ready and reminds me of Brian Murphy when they went to State in 2012. Defense seems to be playing better also but a little hard to judge because of the quality of opponents at the end of the year (excluding NV of course). DVC teams have had some success against ESL (I know WWS beat them a couple times?) so hoping they can pull it off, GO PANTHERS!!
