I added this comment to a thread. Dozens of people said, "make this a new thread"... (okay, one person suggested it). So, here it is:

It's time for the East Suburban League.
West Leyden
East Leyden
Morton West
Morton East
R-B
Elmwood Park
Ridgewood
Fenton

Almost entirely contiguous. New rivalries emerge between schools that aren't really rivals now due to size disparity. WL/EL, EL/EP, WL/F, ME/MW, MW/R-B.

And could this eventually be a possible landing spot for the Provisos? Maine East and Maine West? Argo? Westmont and Lisle? Add 4 of these for a total of 12 and go big/little divisions or geography divisions. East Suburban East and East Suburban West are fun names.

The unforeseen bonus for the overall conference landscape is the openings created in the WSC, allowing them to add the Napers and the Valleys.

DGS
DGN
HC

Invite Bolingbrook for three divisions of 6-teams, 5-teams, and 5-teams, to maintain tradition and account for football strength. Different sports, use different division.
- GW, HC, LT, Y, DGN, OPRF
- NC, NN, NV, WV, BB
- DGS, HS, WB, AT, MV

Don't invite Bolingbrook for three 5-team divisions. Take care of traditional rivals with crossovers.

How fun would that be?
