I recently saw jefferson boaz from east surry recieved an offer from Unc. Does anyone know if the gosnell still go to school there. I see the coach post his offers of twitter.
Gosnell does not. He is at Carroll county H.S. in VA. I’ve heard there is a chance they could be back, but also heard that things are going good for them up there. So who knows. East will be loaded with or without him.
May be back this fall or ask Maxprep. Maxprep makes no sense sometimes !Why would they be on the roster if they aren't enrolled? That can get someone in some trouble.
Get in trouble? For an online roster stop fishing for something. Easy should run the West with or without the Gosnell brothers but will definitely need their speed if they want any shot to compete with Tarboro at the end.Why would they be on the roster if they aren't enrolled? You guys just had someone offered by Auburn?
Yes, ES had soph. Isaac Washington get offered by Auburn. As a former football player parent, I think the difference now is that the coaching staff is doing a great job marketing kids and college coaches are seeing the talent now without them having to pay money to go to camps all summer because East Surry has had some type of talent every year. Recruiting has changed dramatically over the years and not all coaches are as inclined to change with it. The kids are the ones who ultimately suffer or benefit from it. Coach Holder at Mount Airy was a great coach who really helped his kids out as well.
OK. So your saying that East has at least 3-4 legit D-1 football players on their team??
I feel sorry for poor old Reidsville. With that type of talent level East should schedule East Forsyth or Mallard Creek and should blow out Tarboro.
They do have 2 guys that have d 1 offers I checked. They have a 3rd guy, but he may have transferred out.
I meant East Surry has a lot of student athletes that have been offered by major schools and it's uncommon compared to the past. I understand what you're saying tho HeartPump.OK. So your saying that East has at least 3-4 legit D-1 football players on their team??

And Coach Diamont has the credit for bringing this team together but Lowman is getting credit for the team's success !Heartpump you are right if East loses a game they will blame someone else like you said probably Coach Diamont because it certainly would not be Coach Lowman's fault for losing a game. Can not blame him.
You are kidding right???We are not going to continue discussing something that happened a year ago. Quit the negative discussions of players and Coaches or i will shut this down.
So true and things are talked about that happened a year or longer all the time. There are rules and you want to pick only the ones that offend you and they are only something minor. You love to let your friend in Forsyth County personally attack someone for days and say nothing . If you have rules why do you just pick things that are very minor to enforce? I hope you don't call a football game like you pick what you want to enforce on here. Nothing has been said that was bad about a play or Coach. Wondering where a player is going to play this year what was talked about how a coach was done and talked about for months last year is not breaking the rules as I read them but I see much worse let go with nothing said. Why are you so nitpicky on some things and let much worse thing slide by ? This is a fair question so don't take it personal !Just speaking the truth. Everyone knows Coach Diamont was forced out at East Surry.
Not quite as talented as you listed, but very talented right now. 2 football guys with legit D1 offers, a 3rd who transferred out due to family situation but really wants to come back (not sure if he will be able to or not). There were 2 D1 baseball pitchers, a D1 girls basketball player, and a D1 softball player. East is very fortunate with their talent right nowEast Surry has never had the talent that they currently have now. They have 7 or 8 D1 athletes that are looking to go somewhere. I think the baseball team had 3 or 4 players offered by D1 programs and they have been eliminated from the playoffs. The gene pool is kind to schools at different times.
Coaches will probably be blamed like usual...OR maybe they will blame the kids for missed assignments, fumbles, bad reads, etc. We are still talking about 16, 17, 18 year old kids. Anyone can have a bad game at times. East had like 6-7 turnovers against West Stokes last year and barely lost. If you have a game like that, no amount of coaching will be able to overcome those mistakes.Heartpump you are right if East loses a game they will blame someone else like you said probably Coach Diamont because it certainly would not be Coach Lowman's fault for losing a game. I'm not being sarcastic. If East has that kind of talented players with offers from Auburn, VTech, UVA,Carolina, Wake and many other schools why wouldn't they be favorites.Coaches will probably be blamed like usual...OR maybe they will blame the kids for missed assignments, fumbles, bad reads, etc. We are still talking about 16, 17, 18 year old kids. As for Heartpump's sarcasm about ordering championship rings for next year and Reidsville getting beat down by East, people still need to keep in mind that you need tons of depth in football (more so than any other sport). Yes, East has some very talented players right now. But Tarboro had LOADS of team speed and a difficult scheme to stop (especially if those skill athletes get into space) and should return a team just as deadly as last year's team, if not more so. East went toe to toe with Tarboro in the 1st half. In the 2nd half Tarboro quickly wore East down and that team speed took over. East Surry will be a legit contender in the 1AA West. Tarboro is far and away the prohibitive favorite to repeat.
Reidsville will probably have in the mid to high 40s out for football this year. That is why they have won 4 State Championships in 10 years and runner up 1 of those years in their Classification :2A .... Also, their Stadium has a Capacity:6,000 more than double of what Mount Airy & East Surry combined holds which combined MA & ES holds 5500Coaches will probably be blamed like usual...OR maybe they will blame the kids for missed assignments, fumbles, bad reads, etc. We are still talking about 16, 17, 18 year old kids. Did you really say recruited ?East Surry is loaded with high level talent and Coach Loweman deserves tons of credit for getting these kids recruited. Not many other coaches sell their kids like he does. He’s definitely made it hard for anyone to complain with the decision to change the coaching situation at East.
