The East is really interesting. I feel like it’s slept on b/c over the past years it’s been Tarboro & Edenton & everyone else. Folks forget that Murphy only beat Northside last year by 7 in the 1A Championship. I really feel like this the best 1A ball the East has played in a while. I really hope Tarboro gets the #1 seed but I really feel like North Moore will get it but who knows. It’s going to be real interesting once these brackets drop. And I’ve heard it’s 5 rounds this year. Is that true? If so, does the #1 overall seed gets a bye?

Yeah it's 5 rounds this year sadly. Me personally I preferred last season's playoff format. To me at worst I think tarboro will be the number two seed.
It would be nice for them to get that #1 seed but I’m w/ you. It’ll more than likely be #2 but I’m hoping they get #1 based off respect lol
The east is not interesting,the east hasn’t been interesting since WRH went back to 2A and Tarboro had some competition out there,not hating Tarboro just saying…it’s not there fault

.If it ends up being Tarboro / North Moore in the final then I do not relish the thought of that drive for either team.
If its n. Moore and tarboro in finals....it will be another running clock...pender is the only team that may match up against tarboro physically...there is no team that can out scheme them in the east.
Edenton was undefeated two of the four years they played tarboro
. Not to mention the North stanly team they beat in 2018 honestly would have represented the west that year. So to say the east hasn't had any competition is a stretch.I have a gut feeling they'll be the 1 seed. Although I don't think any drive is going to top the one that tarboro had in 93 when they had to go west Brunswick.

You named edenton and a normally western team from 2018. 2 teams don't make competition. Tarboro running clock until state championship this year.

Yeah the best way I guess come on through Siler City. How south on 421 and hit 902 there at Chatham central, then to 22. Across the bridge and then right and around one of the longest curves in NC, if not the longest.I'll send them down 22 by me...

I think you may have misread my post I wasn't talking about this year I was talking about how people claim since wrh went to 2a tarboro hasn't had any competition. I'm not going to sit up here and act like we play a bunch of heavyweights every week in the playoffs but we've played some good teams edenton, West Montgomery, North stanly. And two teams don't make competition if that's the case then East Surry had had none the last 3 years they played for the State title because they only had a handful of teams challenge them on their way to the state championship

Easiest would probably be take 64 all the way to Ramseur then 22 South to High Falls. One left turn until the right at store after bridge...

I just looked up North moore on Google maps talk about deer country lol. You never know though they could be the one seed this is the nchsaa we are talking about.Would be interesting to see Tarboro in High Falls
The good thing about all the teams in one division is you’ll see who the best teams really are. Time to put up or shut up.
More deer in Chatham just numbers wise. Deer are bigger though in Moore and you can run them with dogs, which used to be fun when I was younger and cars were fewer.

I was at that game. Cold night. West Brunswick had one player who wreaked havoc on Tarboro's defense.
I also heard tarboro got robbed that night as Carlos scored but the refs said he was short.
