Haven't seen or heard much on here about any of our teams. Anybody know anything??

I did hear that ED is going to be small as usual, but hopefully better than last year.

TD Pass, what going on at ED??? they havent made any noise in a while-not even in the local Duplin Co chatter....I hate that they have fallen back to the pre- coach Alderidge days---so sad

I did hear that ED is going to be small as usual, but hopefully better than last year.

ED is not going to be small this year, i think they will be much quicker all over the field but still very young, may be a year away from being really good, but will surprise some this season.

Southwest seems to be in rebuilding mode, but that still means a solid team. Everyone on the Southwest side is just waiting for these first two ball games. Jacksonville in the opener and Clinton the following week. How we deal with a good 3a Jacksonville and how we compete against Clinton will tell it all. Prediction for ECC is still 2nd place behind Northside with a strong chance of being 4th. Croatan is my sleeper pick and N Brunswick is so far away from our area who knows what they are doing. E Duplin is not a bad team either and grew stronger at the end of last year. I guess the word is parody in the ECC for SWO,Croatan,E Duplin, and N Brunswick.

Northside looked very good in the scrimmage and is the favorite...great looking group so they are going to have a final shot in 2A and a good one/before going to 3A...SWO looks good but no depth/played New bern tough....ED looked much improved and Croatan passes the look test...improved also

When I say ED will be small as usual, I mean smaller than surrounding teams. We have been historically smaller than teams such as NS Jax, Clinton, SWO and so on. So it's nothing new. Just stating the obvious I guess. I think we will be improved from last year. I'd be willing to say ED finishes top 3 if we continue to progress. Should be a good season.

I do agree with Pantherfaithful on saying we are just a year or two from being REALLY good. Good luck to all teams this year. Can't wait for Friday!
