ED looks to be clicking on all cylinders at this time. ED by a whole lot.

2A

#5 Wallace vs #12 Ayden Grifton
As long as the Bulldogs don’t overlook AG, they should get a W. Dogs by 14+

#8 First Flight vs #9 Clinton
The Darkhorses are battle tested. Don’t let their record fool anyone. As long as Clinton doesn’t look forward towards a potential matchup against NE, they should be fine. Clinton by 10

#3 Southwest Onslow vs #14 Goldsboro
Maybe a closer game than most expect. If SWO fails to stop the big back from Gboro, it could be close. I’ll go with SWO, but I wouldn’t be surprised either way.

#2 East Bladen vs #15 James Kenan
Easy win for EB against a down Tigers team. EB by 21+

Don't want to start a" boro" thread but if that fella gets a little help from his teammates he could hurt them stallions. Maybe not win but keep it real close.
Jk man I wish they were not down. Not really a terrible team by most standards . In a different coference could have finished alittle better .don't know if they can get it done or not? ??

I think ED Wallace Clinton move on to rd 2. Unfortunately JK will not and I think SW and Gboro are a tossup, wouldn't be surprised either way.

When I made that prediction I was figuring Clinton would be playing with a lot of momentum coming off of WRH game and it being senior night. I figure ED probably wins by 40 in the 1st and 2nd round. Things shouldn’t get challenging for them until the 3rd round.

You're probably right. I hate that JK is having a down year. Im pulling for all Duplin County teams and Clinton, I would like to see lots of posters eating crow. Especially some from the North East section of our State

Yes nothing would make me happier than to see Northeastern lose 2nd round. ED run the table and beat the brakes off Shelby and either WRH or Clinton go dismantle Reidsville.

As for JK it’s sad but our time will come again.

What a disadvantage for Clinton having to ride on a 5 hour bus ride. I think Clinton wins, but it's always hard to know how a team will come out after that kind of ride.

If Goldsboro is motivated they could win. They have always historically played the best at the end of the year. Funny how a lot on this board (including myself) dismissed Goldsboro after a rough start. They could make a run with one of the best player in 2A.

WRH went into Havelock and beat them this year. They should have no problem going to Northeastern. Not their first rodeo.

I have never been there before so if you see me just hit me up. I like first flight in this game, but just because they're from our conference. I will not be going to the OBX. Clinton will win and i hope they beat Northeastern so the 3rd round game will be in my backyard. Very unfamiliar with Northeastern but I will give you credit for the DH Conley win

I'm a die-hard Wolfpack fan, and I will tell you this, Clinton has about as much chance of beating Northeastern as NC State would of beating Roy Williams and UNC in Chapel Hill

I have no idea, I'm not into football like that. I just enjoy going to the games and the environment on Friday nights. We have a really good passing game I can tell you that. Our quarterback is 6'5 and he can really throw the ball well. We also have a hell of a running game, that is led by the high-profile D-1 recruit Traveon Freshwater. The kid is a star, 6'4 and all muscle. He plays really good on defense as well. Last week against first flight he had only seven carries but ran for over 200 yards. Our star receiver is a transfer from Texas and he is also 6'5

96 u seen reidsville play this year for them to beat wallace or ED they will have to play the same type of game. I think any team can be beat,turnovers can get u beat wallace and Ed Capitalize off turnovers,playing spread teams can pose a threat for both teams,as for this grasswater kid being 6'4 and a receiver thats 6'5 havelock qb was 6'4 and they had 10 D-1 players on that team one of their reciever was like 6'2 or 3 and we played them tooth and nail and won im not saying wallace gonna win im will say size not gonna matter,i know noone givez wallace a shot to win against NE makes me think we playing the New England Patroits!! NE So Good !!
