If you won't need the cash for at least 10 years, now is the time to buy. Those that bought low after the Y2K panic, 9/11 drop, and 2008 crises saw huge returns when the economy returned to normal. I doubt Coronavirus will be a problem at all in 2 years and if it is, the deep economic depression of the US and thus the world would make it a moot point for the average joe as inflation will destroy most forms of wealth like it did in Venezuela.

Its shameful and frightening that rethuglicans who have done everything they can (once again) to destroy the security and financial health of most Americans are now trying to blame Democrats for the disaster the rethuglicans and Trump in particular have dropped upon us all. While the LOL "deep state" was warning these incompetent narcissists to do something about the approaching health and financial catastrophe, Trump and his cronies were running around the country on our dime lying about the media and the people still in government trying to protect us, and creating false narratives about the economy, while at the same time committing crimes and selling off their stock while telling everyone else "all is fine, buy more stock!"

Now, instead of doing something to stave off the growth of the virus or shore up the economy, rethuglicans and Trump look to give MORE of everyones money to bilionaires for stock buy backs and lie about the solutions to the health crisis.

And still fools follow blindly.....

Buying at the bottom is hard to do, buying small amounts on the way down is probably a better strategy. We are far from the bottom I think if we are on the verge of a Spanish Flu sort of pandemic. We are going to see some sectors in deep trouble and it will create poor earnings, high unemployment, disrupted supply chains, bankruptcies, homelessness, depressed housing markets, etc, etc. The market is where it was at the end of 2015. In 2015 the market had already had 8 years of steady growth so I think there is lots of room for further declines, especially if widespread panic creates irrational pessimism. If you have had a paper loss and can hold on then you don't have a real loss, yet. Buy during irrational pessimism, sell during irrational optimism. Good luck, its gonna be a bumpy ride.

Hey Greg how's that Trump stock market doing? What's Trumps Employment reports gonna look like the next couple of months? Shouldn't be all that surprised it will start to look like the last republican president. The one thing they do well is tank the economy in the end.

Not making fun of anything you fool just stating facts. How is Trumps stock market doing? If you call this one of the greatest human tragedies then why aren't calling out your Lord Trump. He said back in January this thing would go away in a few days. Then it was a hoax by his political enemies. Who knows what he is gonna say tomorrow he changes his opinion from day to day sometime hour to hour. Maybe if he would come up with a consistent and coherent plan the big rollers on wall street would actually start showing some confidence in him which they have very little at the moment.
