Nothing more than a career DL coach and recruiter.

Did well at USC as HC. Maybe, just maybe, he's grown and learned from that experience. He wouldn't necessarily be my first choice but he's far from a definite 'no' immediately.

If this regime continues moving backwards, why go for a failed head coach, or one that was forced out, or a coordinator first time head coach.

Go find one with head coaching experience who is successful and wants to try the sec. There are plenty of young head coaches who would love to make that jump.
