What’s your preference? 9-1 bourbon to nog? Or maybe slightly less? Depending upon game night or not? UL game vs. Flawhatever they were.? I’m seriously asking. I’m about out of woodford but have about 3 gallons of eggnog in the bucket. Fighting off the cats. Not our cats lol, you know, real cats. They love the stuff. Can I just dilute it with vodka before adding bourbon? I’m a new alcoholic, only been 7 years. Y’all gotta help, it’s Christmas for God’s sake.

Just take a shot and chase it with the nog.. hardly ever do I mix it.. funny I got a bottle of Woodford gifted to me so thats what I'm using today. Custard good also...

Boiled custard instead of Egg Nog, no lumps in custard!
If you’re mixing it with store bought nog it gets too thin.

That's the ticket ! You can put as much bourbon in the boiled custard as you want. Just be polite about it and start with a glass of boiled custard - or maybe 2/3 of a glass. Then add in the bourbon a shot or two at a time, stirring it in nicely and sippin' a taste before you add another shot or two of bourbon. Wash, rinse, repeat ... 'til you get it wherever you like it ! It's just not good form to pour all of your bourbon in at once.

Always brother Bc.... I "likes" me rum and eggnog.... using 100 proof spiced rum. It gets me where I want to go with less volume... Too much talk of eggnog has me yearning for eggnog with rum just as described. You have a very Merry Christmas...

Mixing woodford is a liquor a crime. If you’re gonna mix bourbon go get some cheaper stuff like Jim bean. If you don’t like the taste of nice straight bourbon then you just don’t like bourbon. And that’s ok

I just made 2 gallons of my grandaddy's custard. Much prefer it yo nogg. I like a nip of bourbon in it myself.
