Ehlinger drops back (perhaps chuckling to himself) focused on Motley, when all of a sudden...

So, Ehlinger must be blind in his right eye or something. He’s a right handed QB so he’s essentially facing Brown in his set up and just doesn’t see him at all. That is very poor QB play.

He seems to have a bad habit of looking at nothing but his intended targets as soon as the ball is snapped. Based on what he saw pre-snap, there was no way that he was going to throw to the single WR that had two people covering. He had man to man targets all day on the other side. The video shot of McNeill after the safety was priceless. He might be out of his prime and not the guy for the DC job moving forward, but he dialed that one up perfectly.

Brown looked like Bobby Boucher on that play. "You dissed my team. You gonna pay."

I was shocked that the hit was clean (basically a push) and that he avoided the PF. It was very timely but there NO way that Roy & company were going to lose in 01 or 02. We had mucho D studs on those teams.
I suppose now we need Tua to get the trophy so Kyler and all his friends be pissed at Bama...

He looked like Brandon Everage blitzing being shot out of a cannon.
