Bo recruited some LBs but he only intended to put 2 on the field at a time, not 3, so he could allow the roster number to get low and it did.

This interview is an orchestrated attempt to defuse the masses concern about his decision to hire an underwhelming 60+ HC. You can't keep the games from coming though and the more they come the more everyone will see that the king has no clothes on.
I'll buy the "talent argument" when someone can list the areas in which Illinois and Southern Miss had far superior talent than us (S.Miss got blown out by Marshall last night FYI).

Not sure what Eichorst has to fear from the fan base. He's making a million a year. If he wanted to, he could probably just straight up retire when his time is up here.
Or he could do like every other fired AD does, and go find another big money job at another school. One things for certain, the only people that are really suffering in all this are the fans who are in a tizzy.
The former players are not the standard bearers for "change now".
If anything, the players have been explaining why alot of things which get labeled as "excuses" are legit obstacles and generally preach patience.

Actually, they would have lost even with AA if the McNeese St. wide receiver had lined up correctly on their TD that was called off.

2- The football he did talk about was in relation to Bo's Georgia bowl game winning team. Context is important. Don't criticize a guy for being inconsistent and showing desperation when that wasn't what was going on in the interview.

Well said and I almost completely agree. Unfortunately the record matters in the sense that we need to win enough games to qualify for a bowl to get the extra practices. That's where I hope the gross clock mismanagement at the end of some of these games doesn't come back to bite us.

NewAD then posts specifics about the lack of talent, and your response is to point out players no longer with the team (and therefore unable to help the team), and make it a point of mentioning Bo. Why? Nobody mentioned him, yet it is important for you to defend him? Not to mention that in your OP, you mention Riley's winning %. It is clear to me that you have a very specific agenda. And the point that you seem to be missing because you're so focused on something else, is that even at 4-1, we would still have all of these issues. It's the same thing as NUFanInOULand saying that Bo was going to win a national championship here because he was like other championship coaches in winning % in their first few years. Need to look behind the numbers.

Let's keep in mind that this "rule" of his is not a rule at all, but a policy he has. Policies exist to serve the people who have them. He must have felt the policy was best ignored in this case.

No worries. Bo claimed he was a victim, but I don't define a person as a victim if he created his own circumstances. SE's rules are what they are (or now were), and they impacted Bo's circumstances but by no means do I think Bo was a victim of SE or his rules.
Laugh at what? I would take Frost's 0-0 record as a head coach over MR's .500 record in his 27 years as a head coach.

Riley isn't coaching for 3-4 years down the road. . This is who he is. Just a very mediocre coach. 1 first down is all that was needed to win this game.
