Ridiculous eligibility rules allowed this.
No wonder the NCAA has ruined College Sports.

From the beginning it put making money over the good of the game and didn't think about what their idiotic self serving rules could wind up damage college sports because their greed and lead eventually to the players being just as greedy , not the players health or education or balanced competition, was their main motivation when implementing the tiles and regulations the NCAA set forth to govern College Sports.

Eh, a one off, 48 year old father is not ridiculous if he is good enough to make the roster. There's plenty of other stupidity ruining college sports which occurs multi fold and on a daily basis.

At one time I thought college sports were for college age kids.(18-24) .
With the exception of those that served in the Military or doing missionary work for their church . Making being under 30 acceptable.
Seeing the replies in this thread , I guess my outlook belongs in the stone age because I feel college sports should have a time limit from when you first entered college (JUCO included) left and reentered .

But since the illusion of being an amateur sport has ended for College sports programs , I guess my illusion of being a certain age to play , is ridiculous
