Once committed to us, and after JC committed to Oregon, just flipped at the last minute to Texas A&M. Didn't he love Coach Donte Williams? Or did Donte jump to A&M with Jimbo? Some kids don't know the meaning of commitment?
Amen brotherWe all do it...we break up with girls...we take better jobs..."regular" students transfer schools all the time.

did this kid call you uncle?I tried that once in jr high and it was a mistake. Several years later this girl had a kid with some other guy and named it after me...

Could you imagine if we all stuck with our "word" on everything?
Lets see...I would still be working at a Jewel (some of you might know what that is) bagging groceries, because I gave my "word" that I would be the best bagger ever.
I would still never had tried beer/booze, because I gave my word that I wouldn't.
I would never have gone over the speed limit or turned without my turn signal on...because I gave me mom my word about that.
I get your point, but I don't think you examples fit. Anyways.. Who cares. Kid is not at Nebraska, and am not sure why people worry about him.
I just get sick of the "your word is your bond" crowd...when they are so full of it.
Da Jewels over dare by Midway?Could you imagine if we all stuck with our "word" on everything?

I get sick of the “$$$$$” comments when people change their minds or go somewhere you don’t want.I just get sick of the "your word is your bond" crowd...when they are so full of it.

And I get sick of the people that say everyone is accusing kids of taking money, even though no one is really doing that. Just like the guy that sarcastically says "we didn't want him anyway", when a recruit picks another school, even though no one actually said that.I get sick of the “$$$$$” comments when people change their minds or go somewhere you don’t want.

Yeah, and we're all so different from everyone else. Every other school's fans politely accepts every recruit's decision-never says anything bad about them, never suggests anything untoward happened, never tears down the other school. It's just us and our horrible fans.Really? $ec comments pop up every time a recruit chooses and SEC school.
And there is a post every time a kid leaves or chooses another school about how he they knew that he wasn't a fit. It is semantics, but the same as "we didn't want him anyway".
Or when a kid decommits from Nebraska and there is posts that say, well we pulled the offer. Never the kid's choice.

Most of the people who say "we didn't want him anyway" or suggest there was money involved are doing it sarcastically-more than are actually seriously suggesting it. And sometimes, we actually do pull player's offers. It makes just as little sense to suggest that it never happens when someone decommits than it is to suggest that it's always the case.
