My new pick is OK to win it all.

Kansas has been very disappointing in the tourney the last few years.
I saw Self is 2-5 in Elite Eights, prior to the Nova game. One of those losses was to VCU if I remember correctly

I think everyone is focused on uncheat winning. But I see Virginia playing spoiler in the Final Four. Brogan is similar to buddy hield if he shots better than he did in the acc championship game. They will out must learn and physical uncheat

The tournament is like death. It will claim all one day without mercy, if not today, tomorrow.

Virginia is losing a lot also I believe. More than likely they won't be as good as they have been next year. Brogdon will be gone and I am sure perrantes will test the NBA waters. I'm not sure of his draft stock, but perrantes could come back.

Not ready to concede to the tar holes yet. A very good OU team is still alive. But come on ND do us a favor tonight

They lose Gill too? Either way, they're going to struggle a bit relatively speaking next year. Their style though isn't suited for one-game elimination against competent teams. They don't get enough easy baskets in transition or in the half court

I legitimately wonder if a team has ever had an easier road to a NC. UNC will literally make the NC game without playing a single top 4 seed, and will not have to beat a single top 5 team to win the national title. And, not to mention, they're ending this run by playing two ACC teams that they're familiar with. I frankly think Duke (which I think is nowhere near deserving an NC or even this UNC team) could have had a decent chance at making the title game if we had this draw.

Yes I forgot about him. Gill is definitely gone too.

Especially with the incentive of wanting to take out ND after two losses to them this year; and wanting revenge against Cuse. They could have made it to the NC game. To UNC's credit, they're blowing out all their opponents

Perrantes wouldn't get drafted but would probably get picked up free agent. UVA has some guys coming but they're probably a year or two away from being contenders. VT may be better than UVA next season.

UNC made such a big deal of our path in 2010 & 2015, their path this year is NIT worthy.

There are probably some metrics to substantiate it, but this has to be one of the easiest paths ever.

This also reminds us all that there truly is no justice in the world. Syracuse, coming off an NCAA ban and a coach suspension, makes the Final Four. UNC is still awaiting word in regards to as big an academic scandal the NCAA has ever dealt with, and they are receiving an absolute cakewalk. Cheaters never prosper, except for when they do.

Bennett has weathered the loss of some pretty key players over the last few years -- Joe Harris, Akil Mitchell, Justin Anderson -- but losing Brogden will be the biggest test yet of where they are as a program. Gill has been pretty reliable for them for a couple years, too. And I think Bennett's system --as boring as it is and as unable to get them over the hump as it has been so far -- is pretty reliable for regular season success. I hope they don't disappear. We need as many solid programs in the ACC as we can get, and I don't hate them enough for them to be an exception yet.

Edit: Oh, duh, you guys have covered this already.

It seems like every game UNC plays, their opponent's best big guy(s) always end up with 2 or 3 fouls within the first 5-10 minutes of the game.

Carolina has an amazing knack to always get a few interesting calls when a game gets close

That moving screen call on Vasturia was one of the worst calls of the tournament. Absolutely took away any momentum that the Irish had.

I stopped watching. I didn't feel like getting my blood pressure high enough to inflate a car tire. Also, didn't wanna scream and cuss on Easter. I've had Ana amazing day and church this morning was off the hook.

I don't know if it was one of the worst calls, but it definitely spring boarded UNC. It went from 55-55 to 57-52 in 13 seconds. That was the game. My issue is that moving screens need to be called consistent. Calling that one on Vasturia didn't bother me....but then you should be calling it 15 times every game.

UNC is better than Notre Dame, though. I think the Irish expended a lot of energy getting back into the game and then finished attacking the basket once they took the lead. On top of that, they couldn't get a single stop.
