That was really, really bad. And it was on ESPN. Don't think I've ever seen a team shoot that poorly. Hopefully most people were watching the debate?

Michigan State would have made a TON of teams look bewildered this evening. They played that well.

Man, imagine if they hadn't turned the ball over 15 times.
When you shoot and play defense as well as they did, 15 turnovers is largely irrelevent.

In a game, one team can play well while another plays terribly. That's kind of what happened last night.
We have been playing poorly for several games in a row now, and it's not entirely because of the quality of competition.
Maybe Collins needs to dust off the first half of the UNC game and remind them of what they are capable of doing.
I'm hoping that Maryland loss wasn't a total back breaker for this team. To their credit, they played their asses off that game, and you could tell they really wanted it. Coming up just short after that type of effort is tough. Last night, I just didn't see any fight from this team. I think people get carried away with saying that when shots aren't falling, but there really didn't seem to be much fight or confidence on display. It's like if the shooting starts cold for this team, it never picks up. That's confidence to me.
