Yeah, I think the Congressmen protesting and not attending are missing this key point. This is not just about Trump. It is, in fact, much more about the American experiment. The peaceful transfer of power.

There are plenty of ways to show displeasure at Trump after he is President. The inauguration is a poor way to do so since it symbolizes much more than just one man.
