Great read and I agree with Tim that Erik handled it great. My issue is when this happens to a lower type player who may only have 2-3 offers and it gets pulled they are left out to dry.

I have no problem with a coach coming in and not honoring scholarship offers but Harbuagh shouldn't have waited as long as he did to pull his offer.

Also, what if their last minute available alternative schools don't match up academically to the school that pulled the offer?
They get hurt athletically and academically.
