I think he has 18 points, lot of clutch shots. The injury to Valentine may end up being the best thing for him, because MSU will need a scorer out there and we all know Harris enjoys shooting the ball.

Shhhh .... don't let Keaton hear about this. But I think Harris ended up with 28-29 points and drew a critical charge in overtime.

And whatever you do ...... don't let Keaton know that Harris plays on the #1 team in the nation.

So what. Eron didn't want to be here. He's had his struggles at times after transferring but whether he does well or not, I'm happy with the guys on our roster and our team.

I wish him luck at MSU. But whether he was at WVU or Michigan State he will never be the player he was capable of being. Kid has NBA potential and talent but middle school attitude.

Here is an example of his "middle school" attitude ....
But nearly everywhere else, the Spartans struggled. That included guard Eron Harris, who took Valentine's spot in the lineup but managed only five points. In the halftime locker room, he got an earful from Tom Izzo.

"He really got on me really tough," Harris said. "You know how he can do. Whatever he did, it worked for me."

He scores 22 in the second half and finishes with 27 And, as I said, he currently plays on the number 1 ranked team in nation. He's a junior.

I don't follow the kid. I just happened to catch the last few minutes of the overtime when flipping through channels. But the vitriol that some posters have directed his way after his departure from WVU only makes whatever success he has, and maturity he gains, all that more enjoyable to behold.

Way to go Eron. Listen to Izzo. Work hard. And make the most of your second chance.

Some of the posters on here will do anything to drag the kid through the mud, wtf?

I am pulling for him to do well, he gave us some good moments. He now plays on a better team for a better coach than what he had to work with in Morgantown.

watch the game and was hoping eron would do well. but, man, he is one awkward kid, borderline nonathletic. he was bailed out on a few drives by the officials, but they were painful to watch. i'd like to see him stick to his strength - shooting.

LOL - our idiot board has become so predictable. Ex-coaches and ex-players are going to be praised for the most mundane accomplishments by the trolls and low information fans. It is as if they think that people will be offended by this silliness.

These posts are nauseating. He doesn't play here and there is a reason he doesn't play here. Good for Eron, but he's not here, so who cares?

Hundred dollars says you also get aroused every time Ryan Switzer scores a touchdown. And he didn't even play here.

So, discussing ( and seeming to get off on) former WVU players or coaches when they struggle is mature and acceptable, but only if you also ignore or denigrate anything good they do?

The crazy ex-girlfriend tag was not unfairly applied to a significant portion of our fan base.

I could really give a **** less about Eron now that he is on Mich St. Oh don't get me wrong, I love all of college basketball and I watched the game last night, flipping between it and the Iowa st v cincy game.

However, I was extremely happy with how many points Eron got and how well he played in the second half for the lone reason that it would give Casey a huge case of the red ***. I took great pleasure in the fact that somewhere in the DC metro area was a 30 year old gnashing his teeth at Eron being the main reason the number 1 team in the country came back and won that game.

I watched the game and he did score a lot like he did for WVU. One thing I noticed was at end of regulation he almost cost them the game. He launched a 3 pointer well past the 3 point line at top of key with plenty of time on the clock to get a better shot and Izzo really got upset with him. Then he fouled Oakland's top player at the rim on a drive that almost went down to set up a potential game winning foul shot. Lucky for Harris it rolled off and the kid made both fouls shots to tie the game which went into overtime. He also had problems dribbling in traffic as he did for WVU. Great game scoring but almost became the goat as well.

Please take a moment to consider all the time and energy you waste trying control what strangers think and post. You can't be having any fun.

There has never been anyone have there opinion changed on a message board. Most, like you, come here to vent or rage.

I'm agreeing with you. And you have raged against Dana from practically day one on here. I really think you root against WVU FB just to see Dana lose.

Where did you ever get that notion that you could actually control what strangers think. And even if you could why would you want too. The only reason that this is our idiot board is that trolls and low information fans gather here in numbers. Entertaining at times, but impossible to control.

Paper...................your efforts to control what people think have failed. It is because folks on the board figured your agenda out early in your career.

I don't follow MSU and didn't even know about Harris' good game until reading the board, but I will say that if all it takes to make Keaton go into hibernation is for Harris to have a good game, then I hope he starts averaging 30.

Look ... last night may be the only highlight that Harris has in his career at MSU. I won't lose sleep over it one way or the other.

But Keaton is so dang full of himself that after Harris foolishly did what he did at WVU Keaton convinced himself that Harris was incapable of getting it together anywhere.

Now what happens if Harris actually goes on to be a productive part of this program for this season and next? I'll tell you what happens ... Keaton acts like he never said the stuff that he said. He'll disappear for a while and then come back and act like nothing happened.

Ding! Ding!

This is funny coming from the most predictable poster in this boards history!!
