It was a long shot, but I was really hoping he would get the LA job.

I wasn't in favor of the Erstad hire, but certainly acknowledge that he inherited a train wreck and deserves time to get the program back on the right track. I don't think NU should fire Erstad, but if he found another opportunity it would not break my heart.
