You're grasping straws if you think tuscola is at the level of ic. Cmon man. IC beat St Laurence and bishop mac. Yes the rest of their schedule sucks, completely agree, but those wins are big. The DSR actually gave them quite a few votes... lol that I'm using the dsr as a legitimate ranking. They are well versed though.

I don't know how this thread went here. All I said was IC would running clock the bulk of the 5A field. Yes, the ESCC (along with the CCL-B and DVC) are pretty bad this year. Only 2 of the ESCC teams are 5A, so this thread went sideways, fast.
You're grasping at straws not me, all I'm saying is if you're making silly claims why not take it a little deeper? Bishop Mac is the measuring stick? The win over bishop mac says they can beat 7a/8a ESCC teams? Come on. In a vacuum maybe IC beats those teams but they probably lose 8/10 if not more to each. Also if they had to play that schedule week in and week out they probably wouldn't beat anyone weeks 9-?

Honestly...No. ICCP is good but the number of athletes is not even close. Now...can those said athletes mesh and mature..who knows? If you get the disheveled Naz week 4 team it would be a good game; the team that played week 8 may possibly clock them. Regardless ICCP cruises to 3A this year and are possibly one of the best coached teams around.

Rowell is a stud. But IC is just not at the overall talent level as some ESCC schools. Again, I think they should win 3a but they play a very weak schedule and the overall talent does not compare to ESCC. Not trying to down IC but just not a comparison.
I know that. But 80-100 kids in the program versus the amount in wrestling is different. Also the program is only about 7 years old.
Maybe some of those 80-100 should at least try it out as it could improve their games a lil esp those young bucks on the Line. I know Smith and Stec and Keefer are benefitting
He actually encourages it. He's very vocal about playing other sports.

I tried to warn everyone that the NAZ team was very young. Very young! No one understands the difference in 14/15 year olds versus 17/18 year olds. Could Naz have beaten a very mediocre VH, absolutely but not turning the ball over 6 times. Now hopefully these your kids will learn from this and come back with a vengeance next year and the year after. As far as being quiet, there is nothing to say when you lose a game you should have won. You just learn from it and try and get better. Because I am an ESCC guy, go MCC!
