The most important week of the season (for ND and Pats fans...)

CoM-22 Viator-14...Corsairs have a shot at making it to 5-4 but, of course, they need to win this one.

Marist-49 Marian-0...Marist is the best in the ESCC this season, in my opinion.

JCA-34 MCC-28...Hilltoppers get win #1 this week

Benet-27 Naz-14...Benet playing some great football. I think their defense is too much for a lackluster Naz offense.

ND-34 Pats-24...Dons defend their home turf and hand the Shamrocks their first defeat.

CoM - Combined record of teams SV has beaten is 1-7.

Marist - Yes, best in ESCC

JCA - tossup, but JCA has to win sooner or later, can't believe I'm saying that.

Benet - if Carmel beat Naz so can Benet

Pats - coin flip really.

Benet beats Naz. I hate going against Naz but we are just too young and are not playing inspired football.

Some big games this week...as well as some tough ones to predict.

Com 24 Viator 14....big win for the Corsairs last week over Naz in LGP. They need this win at home to keep their playoff hopes alive.

Marist 50 Marian 0....is Marist getting their offense untracked? Thought last week's game against MCC would be closer. Hope on the horizon for the Spartans? Their frosh are 2-0 in conference. They need to keep that young talent in the program, though.

MCC 24 JCA 21....JC's offense has shown signs of life. They struggle to stop anyone. MCC had a competitive loss against Benet in Week 3. Got blown out by Marist last week. Have to give them the edge in Woodstock.

Benet 17 Naz 14....can't figure the Roadrunners out this year. They have struggled to score. Benet also has not lit up the scoreboard. This projects as a low scoring game. Naz' speed has given Benet problems in the past. No idea how this game will play out.

ND 31 Pat's 28....GOTW. This is always a great rivalry game, but this year it has major conference implications. ND will attempt to control the clock with time-consuming drives. Pat's has a quick strike offense. I like ND's defense to get enough stops in Niles to pull out a close one. Should be a great atmosphere.

Benet is confident coming in, is it possible to overlook Naz off of COM outcome? Naz With 1st of 2 str8 on the road...will they wake up? let's say yes, with little confidence, 17-11

ND over Pats, but this is a great rivalry. Game will be settled in last 3 minutes. When you have to get there at 6pm for a seat, you know its good. This is one of those games both sides are playing for life long bragging rights. Because in 10 years, at some bar on the NW side this game will be brought up.
