If they follow through with what they said, I will. It shows on their Facebook page it will be in the local charter cable station.

All you jerks hopping in is slowin my stream!
Cool looking stadium, 90. How many does it seat?

Our grass looks the same way. We haven’t had much rain lately so the striping might not be as pronounced on Friday.

EastSide wins 32-0 - blanking Trinity - first time since 2014.

Yet ...

“I thought we were very sloppy. We didn't execute on several different occasions,” East St. Louis coach Darren Sunkett said. “I counted 28 points on the board. We got inside the 5 three times and didn't get in, got inside the 20 once and didn't get in. That's something we're going to have to fix.”

Witherspoon shared Sunkett's assessment of Saturday night's performance.

“It was about discipline. The offensive line wore down early. You have to keep blocking and keep pushing until the last whistle,” Witherspoon said. “That's a lack of effort really. Some guys think the game is over. Everybody thinks the game is over and gets lazy until Coach gets on us.”

I bet we see a better effort in the effort department next week. Sorry Neuqua .

Game video has been deleted. You snooze you lose.

I’d have pulled it too - they showed a crowd fight. Don’t need that going viral.

This is a community event - folks have to just grow up! And no, no one wants to ha e their fans exposed to that - situation could get severe and bullets travel far.

ESTL has already played their closest game in Batavia. Everything left will be 30+ wins.

This isn’t one of the best Neuqua teams in the last 10 years but they are talented and play extremely hard. They will keep it respectable. It just depends on how high they can get the grass on the field by Friday.

These were school kids. From somewhere other than ESL. Police got under control. Fights happens everywhere with school age kids. But I think this is getting out of hand everywhere.

One more team from the Chicago land would have been nice.
Tell us about St. Mary's. Also, I wish another IL school would have stepped in for Ritter. Loved the IL vs MO matchups last year.
The Illinois vs Missouri Matchups were great football, but one thing to think about, and this is not a dig at anyone, not all fan bases travel well. In order for this event to continue to be a successful one, ESL has to insure that ticket sales will be high. For as good as Phillips is, their crowd was small. Same with HF last year. So there is a delicate balance of Great matchups and crowd participation that is considered when putting this event together.

Not ESL's fault bc of when the season started but keeping it on Labor Day weekend would be essential for Chicagoland football goers. A year later I can't remember how many, but I definitely remember an HF presence last year. I thought the later games had a pretty decent crowd.

The later games crowds are larger for a couple of reasons. One being the no rentry policy, and the other being getting a seat for the final game. Plus definite curiousity from the locals about some of the other teams. Again, I'm not trying to disrespect any fan base. HF did have a presence last year and every one we talked to, they enjoyed the experience. Just offering a little content to the conversation.
