I think Fenwick matches up better with ESL than Naz. Might be a good game.If it’s not running clock by mid third that’s a win for Fenwick
Idk. Fenwick looked pretty good from what I saw. Similar score when they played St. L too.If it’s not running clock by mid third that’s a win for Fenwick
I hope it’s a clock by mid second. They won’t stop ESL and ESL will bottle them up. Naz just forgot they were Naz and let them take screens for 1000 yards a pop it was bad. Fenwick is just a mediocre team as is Naz ESL I hope puts up 100Depends on which East Side team shows up. No turnovers and o-lines East Side should put it away in third. If not will go the distance..

Depends fon which team their conference lets them send.Depends on which East Side team shows up.
Arent you the same guy that uses SWC reasoning to justify MC playing in 7a?Depends fon which team their conference lets them send.
Fenwick is a lot better than people think. The Thies brothers are NASTY. If they are banged up, that’s trouble for the Friars. A healthy Fenwick might be able to hang with the Flyers though.
I’d take ESL by 21+ over BRThere are two teams in the state that could play with ESL:
MC - slight favorite
Brother Rice - slight underdog
Wouldn't it be something if that game could actually be played in the 7A final?I’d take ESL by 21+ over BR
Well I think East Saint Louis is the tougher private school in this one but I think it will be a good game.
Also waiting for East Saint Louis, St Byron and St Rochester to join the CCL.
Funny, I had a similar thought last week. Given that we have 4 open games, would it be possible that at least 2 of those could be filled with CCL teams? I realize that the CCL is usually open only in the first week, but could things be manipulated to fit ESL?![]()
ESL. It’s a no brainer. The bet here is when the clock will start to run - 2nd, 3rd or 4th quarter. There might be a couple highlights for the Theis brothers to show but that’ll be it. Congrats to Fenwick on 2nd place.
I don't think they will have 4 open dates next year. I've heard the swc will go to a 6 or 7 game conf season.Funny, I had a similar thought last week. Id guess 15 right now.ESL is loaded with talent. If you were to guess, how many players have D1 offers?
That’s alotta talent. Im guessing the SWC 1st team all conference is full of ESL players.Id guess 15 right now.
That sometimes works against them for post season awards. They all don't get touches. Laron Baker is a guy who has offers from LSU, Michigan, Ole miss, etc. He's probably the 3rd wr option but its not very often shanklin has to go to the 3rd read on any play. That’s alotta talent. Im guessing the SWC 1st team all conference is full of ESL players.
Its amazing year after year all these D1 players in a city of 17,000.Id guess 15 right now.
It truly is just put in the offseason work and you will be surprised at the outcome. Oh and keep the grades up. You do not come into a program like ESL nor MC for that matter and not put work in.Its amazing year after year all these D1 players in a city of 17,000.
you're literally a naz fan, who gives a ****Its amazing year after year all these D1 players in a city of 17,000.
I still see 3 open dates, ESL plays: B'ville East, B'ville West, E'ville, O'Fallon for 4 games, then 2 cross over, for 6 total, leaving 3 for open dates.ESL will still have 4 open dates.
If there are 4 open dates then the SWC must only plan on doing 1 crossover game? I dont think I have seen anything official on the scheduling one way or another. But I def dont want to see two crossovers (meaning 2 of GC, Collinsville, Triad, Mascoutah, Alton) at the expense of one of the non con caliber opponents they have had recently.ESL will still have 4 open dates.
ESL only plays one crossover game. I believe E'ville is in the same boat as well.I still see 3 open dates, ESL plays: B'ville East, B'ville West, E'ville, O'Fallon for 4 games, then 2 cross over, for 6 total, leaving 3 for open dates.
