Clemson is good and they will be at home and get ACC officiating. if we shoot 3's like we have this week we lose for sure.

Road games are hard to win is the one and only reason Clemson may be favored. I have not seen the spread but I would not bet Clemson giving up just one point. What is the spread?

Barttorvik has us at about a 1 point favorite against Clemson and a 3 point underdog against Gonzaga.

I never consider true road game losses as major upsets. Basketball unlike football or baseball is a sport where home court can make a 10 pt difference.
Our first road game with a team full of Road Scholars. These aren't wide eyed freshman that think they have seen everything. Clemson won't know what hit them.
Because ESPN has and will always have idiots running the behind the stage stuff. Only watch ESPN if UK is playing other wise avoid them.

If we all want to put stock into kenpom rankings then we can’t ignore Clemson’s ranking. Which is top 30. A top 30 team on the road isn’t gonna be an easy task. Could we shoot well and win by 15-20? Yes and I won’t be surprised. An if it’s a close game bc Clemson is playing above their norm I won’t be surprised either
I think it’s fair for people to question whether we can win in our first true road game. I think we can but it isn’t some obvious thing.

We are beating Clemson by 10+. Carr, Butler, and Oweh won't allow a loss to some janky *** ACC team
You cannot follow ESPN metrics, especially in late November.
If we win, we know we really have something. Depending on the context of the game, a loss doesn’t mean that we aren’t that good. Plenty of teams struggle to win the first true road game. I hope fans are staying realistic and not looking past the game. I think if you win one of Clemson and Gonzaga, you are in excellent position for a top seed this year. The door would be wide open.
