Starting fall of 2022 Espn Louisville channels 93.9/970 are dedicated to all U of L athletics/shows . Paul will still call the games no more 790/840 second tier coverage to the Cats. So i wonder if some of the ESPN Louisville radio host will continue to be negative as some of them are at present.

Deener's producer is called "Process". The guy knows pro sports--primarily Philly based--and very little about U of L sports.
Most of their producers are intellectually challenged. (Nick Valvano has a job there because of his Dad.) I guess that's why they work at that level for ESPN radio in Louisville.
The only exception is Jack Grossman who produces Sweeney's show. He's actually sharper than Sweeney and his slappy co-host...

Nick Valvano is the absolute worst…he has totally ruined the Maybin show….constantly interrupting and cutting off mics, huge silence gaps, letting Ky callers through. Total nepotism job.

I really don’t understand why either Valvano is on the air here. Bob treats his show (when he works) as his lunch hour. He and Nick seem to like talking about candy, cartoons, bobble heads and kids board games much more than talking sports. Together, they have the attention span of a gnat and can’t seem to relate a story without sidetrack after sidetrack. Nick is the king of dead air, mistakes and interrupting and derailing his show hosts.
One last thing is Maybin’s huge and growing ego. Never heard so much self-aggrandizement and self back patting in one show…and it’s every single day. Generally, those who blow their own horns do so because no one else will.
