Their two match-ups last year were #1 and #2 in most watched games (by a pretty big margin), there two match-ups the year before that were #1 and #2 (by a pretty big margin) and so on. It’s purely about ratings and they always get the best ratings.

Actually, according to this UK had 4 of the top 10 last season. Duke had (1)

Remove the Arizona-Michigan State game because that was leading up to the Thanksgiving Day NFL games. The next two games are Duke-UNC games. The only 2 that did above 3 million.

Yep….thats through Feb 4th of last year. Notice Duke st the 2 spot…that was against UNC. The game ahead of it (as I posted right before this) was right before the NFL Thanksgiving Day game. The 2nd game they played in March (after this list you provide), ended up being the next highest rated game. Both over 3 million. Outside of the MSU-Zona game being above 5 million due to the NFL, those are the 2 highest.
