it will be a negative. Why?

#1 - Wake stinks
#2 - there won’t be 25,000 fans at the game

It’s over, time to move on...

The fans should show up. Refusing to show up would be bad for recruiting and the image of the program. Tyra's comments show that he's willing and able to make a change happen. Everybody please get to the games so the next coach can recruit.

I'm certainly going to be there. A win over Wake will go a long way towards giving the players some confidence moving forward. Football is a game of momentum. Anyone who watched Purdue last night could see that. Moving forward the Louisville players have to believe in themselves first.

Wake will show if many on this board know what they’re talking about.

It will show us if the team has, in fact, quit.

IMO if we lay down, we’re 2-10. But, if we can win this, and win it by double digits, we could get on a roll of sorts. Score some points at CU, don’t get totally embarrassed like NCST, and we might win thre, maybe four more.

But Wake holds the answer. We’ll know in six more days.

Winning four more would be a true miracle

I’ll even take it down a bit to 20,000 or less

It’s homecoming. There will be fans/alums there who don’t go to games on the reg. Looks like the weather will be ok. Won’t be near capacity. Not even close. But it’ll be a decent crowd.

Nope, 25,000 or less...write it down. Now, the athletic office may report more but there will be very few butts in the seats Saturday.

We win four more and I’ll eat my hat! No way in hell that happens. We finish somewhere between 2-10 & 4-8.

There isn't a bad image for recruiting if you don't recruit them in the first place.

Any of you have season tickets and don't go, I'll take your tickets. I'm not a bandwagon fan, thats what they do down the street when they start off 4-1 and lose 5 straight. We are a better fanbase than that!

I'll be there, but at this point people aren't showing up because the production has been nothing shy of poor since losing out in 2016. It is not because of bandwagon fans.

I will be blunt. If we lose to Wake we will finish 2-10. If we beat Wake we will finish an embarrassing 3-9. No bowl for us!

I just want to know at what point as a fan we're allowed to be angry and not spend money or time on the program until things change? Where is the line from fairweather fan to pissed off fan?

I enjoy going to the games and spending time with my friends and family tailgating. I’ve gotten fairly apathetic about the games going forward but I plan to still attend (including going to Clemson). I trust that Tyra and others in the athletic administration know what’s going on.

Forget the money. If you have tickets, show up. There isn’t much hope, but the Cards are still our team. Football is the greatest sport. Show up. Show up and boo if you want. But show up.

I feel like as fans the only aspect of power we have is with our wallets. If Louisville was terrible but still sold out every game do you think the administration would have much reason to replace Petrino right now? Certainly not at the hefty price its going to cost to replace him. In my opinion you must show the administration your displeasure the only way you can. I would rather you not show up than show up and boo because those kids don't deserve to be booed and they have no way of knowing who's being booed.

I’m going this week I think.

I’ve gone to every game except maybe five since 1984. Those five fell on our anniversary trip week.

But I’m getting older and a funny thing is happening. Some other things are starting to look better to me at certain times.

That said, I do have question for the “shouldn’t miss games” crowd (of which I WAS one for years).

It we go 2-10, 3-9, and 2-10 again, and have 60k at EVERY game........why would the Admins make a change? What incentive would they have?

The money would be there. And do you really think they would give one rat about the record? They would probably swell with more pride because “we suck, but our fans are better than yours because they keep the register full!”

Empty stadiums and cash registers are the only thing that gets their attention.

I hope it doesn’t rain.

They don’t deserve empty seats, either. Tyra isn’t stupid. He has eyes. Show up for the players.

Nebraska had 90K at their home game Saturday, and they hadn’t won a game. Now, they have hope. They have a new coach rebuilding a program. We’re on the other end of the spectrum. My point is they show regardless. We need to “send messages.” So not a football school mindset. Just show up.

There is no line. You’re either a fan or you’re not. Remember, “fan” is short for fanatic.
