Not citing any "high school 40" times in my post. I am citing Wisconcin and Nike. Nike actually measured Broder at 4.49 so it wasn't the 4.45 @ Wisc.Add a minimum of 1/10th to any high school 40. Mid 4.3s. SMH.
Agreed, comes down to these two for poyBrodner matched Lees today. Six TDs on something like 200 yds on about 15 carries. Not sure the yards and carries but he was a man amongst boys today.
Looks like these two will take it down to the wire
Can't do it. Ask westerkamp.Indeed. It is always hard to compare QB to a RB. In Lees case, he obviously had a huge night on the ground to go with his 4 TD passes. All 6 of Sammy's TDs came on the ground, which someone posted as a new 7A record.
Brodner only gets his yards one way...running through or around you. Ok so he catches a few passes, like a one hander today, but defenses can decide to focus all of their energy on stopping him in a way that defenses can't against Lees. That option where he fakes the hand off, moves forward then throws over top is a devastating play to stop. Requires a lot of touch, and he has that in spades.
How about Co-POY?
4.3s lmao I'm sure Riley Lees would go to the NFL combine and out run almost every kid there. I love when people try to say these high school kids run sub 4.4 40s, if Lees did he'd be going to OSU, not NU.Add a minimum of 1/10th to any high school 40. Mid 4.3s. SMH.
Then one should go Ivy league.TPF,
Don't discount the fact that there are quite a few parents and kids who place the level of education as their number one priority.
I'm sure you know that all HS stars do not make it into the NFL.
No athletic scholarships on the Ivy LeagueThen one should go Ivy league.
There are quite a few college ranking reports, of course, but using the latest US News and World reports results, NU is ranked above several Ivy League schools academically. Then one should go Ivy league.
