Rick, remember you telling the board how much you liked Cormac McCarthy’s The Passenger? I have read every one of McCarthy’s novels, have each of them on my shelf, and The Passenger is just about the most difficult of his novels to get through. And it was about a mathematician.

Take it from me, I would never steer you wrong: you’d like All the Pretty Horses and Blood Meridian more than The Passenger. They both have better stories to tell and are better written. Try something new. XOXO

Edit: Blood Meridian is based on historical figures. It’s the true story of the American West.

so anybody who enjoys rock music driven by a lead guitar line (even the stuff Lakavosley listens to) start with Sister Rosetta Tharpe and Beverly Guitar Watkins. 2 of the main headwaters of the giant river that is rock music

Oh, 100%. A big factor is that most posters don’t pretend to know more than they actually do. We let the experts talk about what they know best. We listen and learn.
