Watching the Florida State vs Boston College game and they show the Directv commercial. Talk about a slap in the face. That is funny.

I don’t know all the details as to why they haven’t reached a deal, but it’s typically Disney / ABC that is being unreasonable preventing a deal from happening in these scenarios. Seems like it happens once a year. YouTube TV seems to be the one capitalizing, but they had issues like this in the past as well.
It sucks, but these networks are typically the issue. The carriers are in a no-win situation. They’ll have to raise prices on existing customers or lose money based on how these networks hold them hostage basically.

I will agree that Disney holds a gun to the carriers head, but at the same time Direct TV is price gouging consumers. I blame Direct TV for this happening. They know they will have to cave into the demands, but let the contract expire which the football fans get the short end of the stick.
Not only has Disney and Direct TV has not reached an agreement, but Direct TV has notified their consumers that they are increasing the cost starting next month. I believe South Carolina fans should dump Direct TV.
Dumped them years ago. Nothing to do with being a fan. Had ATT internet bundled with DTV for around $100. Went to almost $200. Now have YTTV $75 and Fiber internet for $60. With fiber internet my TV is as clear and smooth as over the air.
