Johnson Jr. is ranked as the fourth-best prospect in the state behind LaGrange Park Nazareth Academy quarterback J.J. McCarthy, Lake Forest linebacker Mac Uihlein and Winnetka New Trier offensive tackle David Davidkov. Chicago Brother Rice’s Willie Shaw, ranked seventh, is the only other running back ranked in the top 20. He is ranked as the 15th-best running back recruit in the 2021 class in the country.

Mizzou rules the STL area ... even with that Trinity coach on Lovie’s staff, one of their studs committed to MO.

SIX of the top recruits in the STL area have picked playing in the SEC over the Big Ten or anywhere else for that matter.

This does not yet consider where Lovett is headed and he’s getting all the SEC royalty to court him.
