Kennard looked okay.. I wasn't as impressed with him as I was at C2C. The whole team looked much better and more in control the second half.

112-68 Final.

OFC

OAD, a reporting job well done!! I just got on here and feel as though I was a the Exhibition! I'd say you have a career as an announcer if you want it. Thanks for the updates.
Hate to hear about Grayson & Matt being injured, hope it's nothing major.
Go Duke!!

The thing with this team is that they may have nights where they struggle as they continue to gel, particularly early on in the year. However, the pieces are there such that they can make a legitimate elite eight, final four run.

Kind of what I expected. Looked at the stats and was pleased with the ft shooting and I think we can get that up to around 75%. I think we are going to get more than we expected from Marshall. I think he's going to have more good games than sub-par. If he can give us 10 ppg and about 8 rpg he's going to be a problem for opponents and that includes a jr. Meeks and UNC. OFC

OAD you are the man!! And looking at stats sounds like we were pretty well rounded. U can't expect much better than that! We are gunna be a good team Go Duke!

Ohh and those Plumlee boys have a tendency for taking it to another level the last year on campus:)

Really happy with our two seniors

Seems it's actually Matt who may have a pressing injury

Looks like the defense picked up in the second half. I figured that it would take some time to settle in, but that was quick.

Yes he could have played in the game and still red-shirt.....may have been the match-up issues since the opponent was playing really small. I believe that is why Obi didn't get much PT either.....

I didn't expect him to play any meaningful minutes, but I would think he would atleast get Walk-On minutes unless he is injured.. He was dressed out.. Not sure what that was about.

the team looked good...good overall defense...FS hit a bunch of threes early to keep them in it and then duke opened the floodgates and the threes for FS started drying up...they shot a ton of them...#goduke

I was lucky enough to make it to the game. The lower level was full once they let the grad students in. The upper level was about 3/4 full. The crowd was very excited considering it was an exhibition game.

Grayson never really seemed to get going but that shouldn't alarm anyone except those who assumed he'd be exactly as good all season as he was in the final game last year.

DT played really well and should please everyone who can avoid comparing DT to Tyus.

Plumlee looked great.

Obi was able to rebound over smaller competition but he immediately looked to pass. His one shot looked horribly awkward. Absent injuries I don't see Obi getting much time, but I hope I'm wrong. He's a big strong guy and could be well served in a "rebound and kick" or "rebound and dunk" role of 10-15 minutes a game if he gets comfortable out there.

The crazies pulled out a huge sign encouraging Giles to come to Duke. They got Quinn over to sit with them by chanting for him and once that worked they then chanted for Giles to "Sit with Quinn." He obliged and seemed to be enjoying himself chatting with Quinn.

Great time at Cameron. So glad to be able to work this game in around a work trip to Winston Salem.

RE: Robinson. Not sure why he didn't play. My understanding is that true freshmen can play in an exhibition game without imperiling their redshirt but that option isn't available for anyone else.

Yeah, we have to remember that Grayson barely played any meaningful minutes until the end of the season.. game experience wise, he is not much above a freshman.. I see him being 'icy hot'.. some games he will drop 20 and others he will have 5.

On grayson- he looked disengaged the entire night. Not sure what was up with him, but knowing the kind of kid, worker and fire he is, i'm sure that was an anomaly. I still expect Grayson to be te man this year- he might not be our leading scorer but I look to him to impact the game on many different levels.

As for Obi- guy just ate up the boards. Cleaned them up when he was in there. Unfortunately, that is the beginning and the end of his contributions. He was an absolute deer in headlights to put it nicely outside of the defensive glass. Don't expect much here unless something drastically changes.

Was really impressed with DT- quick, good decision making and has a sweet jumper. It was only an exhibition game but he is going to be good. As for Luke- like the player he is. Like how he plays- just didn't hit many shots and actually turned down a few he should have just let go. I think as he gets more comfortable the better he will get.
