Yeah I'm not sure how a kid with his talent could get blocked like that under the rim it was ridiculous
Grayson needs to get over that crap, it ain't last year and he won't be putting up the same numbers. Too much talent on this team for that.
This team is loaded. So many players can score and defend. A sloppy game, no Giles or Tatum and still scoring was up there. I think we had 45 rebounds and 12-15 blocks ?
I missed the first half. I was impressed with Bolden, Javin, and Jackson.
Jackson shot lights out for several possessions in a row. Javin looked a lot more comfortable on the offensive end compared to CTC. Bolden's defense and length was awesome. I think Jeter is slowly coming along. I thought he looked less robotic compared to last year. Somebody needs to get in Grayson's head. He didn't seem like himself last Saturday or tonight. I think he's put too much expectations on himself. He just needs to play and let the game come to him. I can't wait for the next game. GO DUKE! Oh yeah Luke's gonna kill it this year, man he's got that dagger confidence.

I wish Jeter could finish a little more often though. He's a work in progress. Definitely agree that he does look better than last year.
Jeter makes himself 6 foot tall when he catches the ball. He continues to bring the ball down to his waist.
I'll take this game tonight. Va. St. is a good team. Really good in their division and they did challenge us in many ways. I just don't think we can keep Jackson, Javin and Bolden off the court. Don't know what we are going to do with the pt when we are at full strength. I'll leave it the staff to figure it out. I though Chase did ok. Gradual improvement is what I saw tonight but it is just one game. Coach K gave plenty of guys some pt tonight. Luke showed some leadership tonight and I think Grayson knows Duke is going to be loaded and get comfortable with there are going to be other big scorers but that should make him even more effective. Thought he showed some mental poise tonight after getting banged around a little. OFC
Exactly, I wish he would catch the ball and then finish but he brings the ball to his waist and then tries to go back up with it.
That's going to take enough blocks on him until he gets tired of it and starts going up strong. If he does learn to do that then either he's going to get fouled or he's going to slam it. I remember when Marshall had that problem then his senior year he just went up strong. OFC
Lol! Yes yes. I remember yelling at Marshall through the tv for just that. I'm confident Jeter will eventually get it but it's frustrating right now at this moment. Lol

That's cause he's one of them amphibious dudes coach. He can do a lot of things with both hands. I think if he wanted to he could be a switch shooter.
OFCHe's left handed but always played quarterback right handed, from pee wee to high school. Not sure why.
Read a tweet where K said his hamstring started to tighten up so as a precaution they held him out
