-- then I would have said, gimme BYU and Louisville.
-- Now I have to say, gimme Boise State and Houston. But for some reason, Houston rarely comes up despite being what, the third or fourth largest market in the United States? Must be an old Southwest Conference thing. In lieu of either, give me Cincy or BYU, although that appears to be a longshot as well. There has been talk about UConn, but....they'd be even more out of place than WVU.

Houston isn't talked about because there are so many Texas schools already.

And the current Texas schools don't want Houston to have Big 12 status to help them recruit.
Exactly. They don't want them for that reason and the rest the conference schools feel it doesn't open up a new market since Texas is covered already.
